Ken Babbs

Mike and Oteil are joined by famous Merry Prankster Ken Babbs. Babbs shares adventures from his time with the Merry Pranksters, tales from the acid tests, and jokes aplenty. Ken talks about the book of stories he’s putting together called “Cronies,” encounters with the Hell’s Angels and Ram Dass, and the three discuss the meaning of the American spirit.

Ken Babbs is a famous Merry Prankster who became one of the psychedelic leaders of the 1960s. He along with best friend and Prankster leader, Ken Kesey wrote the book Last Go Round. Babbs is best known for his participation in the Acid Tests and on the bus Furthur.
